Bruno Munari
October
24, 1907 – September 30, 1998
Bruno
Munari was a very talented artist that made a major contribution in many, of the
visual arts fields. His contribution to the concrete art field is something
that is very fascinating. The concrete art movement has a very strong emphasis
on abstraction. Bruno found the Movimento
Arte Concreta, in Italy in 1948.
Later
in Bruno’s life he began to get involved in graphic design and contributed substantially
to many children’s books. He used many different techniques in the creations of
his books, using texture, tactile surfaces and cut outs. He did this to teach
young children about touch, movement and color.
Nice job....
